Spring unrolls in phases. Budlets. A tiny bloom. Cobwebs clear. Brilliant greens. Blue sky crowds out clouds. Shoulders lower. Twitterpated birds. Nesting ensues. Goldfinch returns. Cold breeze. Restlessness. Peonies nod. Tulips curtsy. Red currant waves. Trillium hunting time. Phone photos, but you get the idea.

I love this! A bumper trillium bounty this year; and now turning their dying shades of pink and purple.

I couldn’t believe it took me so long to get out there to look. This weekend perhaps the Gorge, though I’m fearing the crowds. The sacrifices I make to meet up with working people! 🙂 Thanks for being here!

The Labyrinth Trail at Coyote Wall gave me some much needed solitude even on a busy, sunny day in the Gorge. Have you ever been ? Love these thought-bombs of spring you’ve shared !

I haven’t, though I was at Catherine Creek once and almost got blown off the mountain. Sounds like it might get fewer crowds. I’ll put that into the think tank for this weekend, thanks! And thanks for being here. — Nancy
